Decent cold weather balaclava

I train in bad weather. Rain, snow, heat, you name it. Winters here in Missouri can be harsh, especially when combined with the wind. My company offers a fleece balaclava that is good for 40 degree weather but not good for wind. I took it and gave it a chance. It works well. It won't keep you warm like fleece, but it definitely takes the wind out of the equation and makes my job a lot more bearable in the colder months. So far the coldest temp I've worn it in was 25 degrees, in windy conditions

Pros
  • glitters
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Warm face mask and hat.

Comfortable and warm on skis today. neoprene material It fitted well under my helmet and the ventilation let air in and my face stayed warm collecting only a small amount of condensation. Not suitable for a child or small adult in my opinion. Today was a maximum of 18 F!

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

In short, I like it and would buy it again.

I wear this for motorcycling in the winter when temperatures get down to +/- 20 degrees Fahrenheit. It worked great. I've tried half a dozen brands of balaclavas. This evaluates the best or second place in the ranking. Costco is fine. Seirus was the only brand that could compete with this one, but if you compare the prices, this one wins. All of this causes the eye protection to fog up when you are not moving. The question is how easy is it to remove it and replace it with a red light? That's…

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is there

Excellence In One - Accessories

This is probably one of the best balaclavas. It comes with three functions in one. Protective neck piece, face mask and hood/headgear. The outer material is waterproof polyester. The inside of this mask is fleece for warmth. The mask fits perfectly, not too loose and not too tight, it stays in place. It's so comfortable I can wear it for hours. It is breathable and neither wind nor air can penetrate! The balaclava I received is the same as in the picture.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to it
Cons
  • I'm having problems

Skull size Do you know

At first I was concerned about this product. My skull is approximately 23 7/8 inches in circumference. In other words, I have a very big head; Size is about XL. After receiving this product, it definitely lives up to expectations. The material stretches, it warms up when riding a motorcycle and your face no longer freezes. I live in Oregon and it's around 20 degrees here; colder if you pee on a bike.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Face shields on hats and caps

We just got through 2 weeks of freezing temperatures and crazy wind chill factors here in Maine. I'm happy to report that I still have ears and a nose that use this as a base layer for a hat. It's warm and fits under my hats and helmets without letting the wind through. Ski goggles protect your head from the wind. Extreme cold temperatures call for extra layers, but you can't go wrong with this base layer of protection. This is good value for money. I'll update this review if it turns out not…

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Functionality

This face mask was not as advertised, had no fleece inner or outer lining as advertised. did. When I put it on it didn't keep me warm at all so I ordered another one as I was sending this one back. The current one I ordered is very warm and very comfortable, made of fleece and came as advertised.

Pros
  • Great choice
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Must have for farmers!

Husband in the army. He often travels to the mountainous regions to train, and the weather cracked his face and lips. His last ride was terribly snowy and windy. He came home and said that this hood "saved my life" lol. He is satisfied with the quality. In it he was very warm, dry and sheltered from the wind.

Pros
  • The best in his niche
Cons
  • There are nuances
