💄 Rimmel Scandaleyes Show Off Mascara, Black, 0.41 fl oz Review

I wanted to change my mascara so I let buzzwords convince me. Very disappointed. I have to apply it to my lashes about twenty times for some to stick, but it still doesn't hold up well. The brush doesn't help at all. I bought this to get those little lash tips thinking a brush would be great for this, but the best I get is a big, oily gob that doesn't spread over my lashes. Let's get back to my Mabelline.

This product doesn't work on all levels: 1) The round brush (the reason I bought it) is crushed in the tube making it unusable. Now you have a thick, pointed end that can't separate the lashes AND you get a brush with a large indentation in the center that makes it impossible to even apply; 2) product is VERY dry and clumpy and uneven on stick; 3) does not dry fast enough to curl lashes; 4) The tube is thick and it is very difficult to grab the stick. I threw it in the trash - waste of money…

Literally the WORST mascara I've ever used. It's so dry it barely gets off the brush on the lashes, flakes off when it's on the lashes and doesn't add volume or length. It basically makes the lashes darker and flakier.

I use and enjoy Rimmel's lipstick, eyeshadow, eyeliner and (prior to this version) her mascara. I bought this from a local pharmacy on a whim, but it was a bad buy in every way. With little moisture, mascara from the longest tips of your lashes will eventually leave marks on the brow bone. The brush is oversized and while the specially shaped wand tip is a great idea for applying to the tiniest of lashes, it's ultimately dangerous as it's too big to be practical. - Brush too big and chunky; Mascara gets on parts of your lower eyelid when you apply it on your upper eyelid and you can't get to the inner corners of your eyes. - You need at least two coats to see the difference; it is barely noticeable and then only adds volume but does not lengthen.
