Looks great on my 4 month old daughter. 3mm was the perfect size for her. It was difficult to screw in, but only because it squirmed a lot. Once inside they don't seem to bother her at all and I feel safe.

Other reviewers said it was difficult to unscrew the back. It almost put me off buying them, but I don't find it difficult. I like knowing they are safe on my ears. I lost one of my last earrings and didn't even know it. That's why I bought them. I am very happy with my purchase.

These earrings are just a godsend and they are really comfortable as the description says. The screw on the back is easy to use and seems to hold the earrings in place, but the stem is quite long (mine is 7mm) so the earrings sag a bit. However, this is exactly what I was looking for to keep my pierced ears open and protected from discoloration.

I gave this to an 11 year old special friend who can only wear 14k gold. she loved her. They are good quality, perfect color and perfect size for her ears (I ordered 5mm). The back screws are secure and didn't come loose even after wearing them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. While the rear screws are a bit small, I had very little trouble tightening them despite my large hands. I absolutely recommend it!
