I put them on my Honda 200 and under the weight and heat of the day they deformed and collapsed. It happened while standing.

Appears to be a little cheaply made. My boat has 60hp so I can only use one at a time. Let's see how long he lasts. I think since I can only use 1 at a time, at least I have a backup.

I think it works. Used it on a 60 mile round trip with my boat trailer. With my transom guard, my outboard should be less prone to severe wear and tear due to road conditions.

I expected better performance from this product. These clips are cheap and very thin. They are already so deformed that they no longer stay in place. I really hope that RITE-HITE will go back to the drawing board and use a different material that can withstand the environment and hot deformation. LOSS OF MONEY until an updated video is released. Seastar Detwiler Clip had to be replaced this year as one broke. I usually get a few years from them. I bought this as an alternative because I couldn't find any others at Revain. It could be thicker material (hard to tell) and they're a bit longer, which was fine with me because the Detwiler clips were a bit short for my outboard. . I think they will last as long as the others so I will probably buy them again.
