Glove best measured in outerwear

With my hand raised, I measure from the tip of my longest finger to the middle of the first crease on the wrist where the forearm curves into a palm. Get 7 3/4". So, a medium-sized man's hand. Put these gloves on and they'll extend maybe 1/4" above the fingers. This is after pinching between your fingers. So a bit long, but maybe not that annoying. However, I suspect that if your fingers are long enough to fit snugly on the glove, that hand is too wide and the gloves are too narrow in width, as

Not bad - a bit long in the fingers

Good product with a few caveats. I have fairly large hands and ordered a size up. Overall the fit is ok, but the fingers were a little long (which I think is better than short ones). It also seems that the material doesn't stretch much. So it's probably difficult to find the right size. I use them as lining for my cycling gloves and they work perfectly. They breathe pretty well and their ability to stop wind is probably a little less than some other gloves I've tried. Overall I'm satisfied, but

Slightly narrower than expected, but suitable for earbuds.

A little thicker than expected but good for earbuds. Slightly looser, they would stay in the glove when I take it off (preferably). But it helps. December 29, 2016: So, that was my old review. I've lost others but bought them back. BAD MOVE! I have a large size smaller hand, how do you measure the gloves? 1. These are tight. It is even difficult to remove them WITHOUT a glove.2. Maybe they switched stores. All fingers are almost the same length. But they are all too long! What was once a great…

Premium liner ideal for outdoor activities

These super thin liners are excellent for use under less bulky gloves. Using them eliminates the need to buy bulkier winter gloves. I like that the fingers are a bit long (I have long fingers to begin with) so they don't stretch too much when you pull on the outer glove. They simply slide over your finger without stretching, greatly improving all-day comfort. These gloves are essentially a black version of the blue polypropylene gloves that have been a winter cyclist staple for years.

Pros
  • Excellent all-round performance
Cons
  • Non-Automatic

A little more: Activewear

Bought to replace a pair of silk linings that were unnecessary. They are slightly thicker than silk gloves but can still easily be worn under a heavier winter glove/mitten. Not only are they a little warmer, it seems like they should hold up to normal wear and tear a lot better. The only criticism is the deduction of one star. I usually wear large ones in most gloves (my hand is 8.5" in diameter) so I bought these. I had to order Wednesday as the gloves are a bit long in the fingers. Judging by

Very thin. Expensive for what you get.

I was hoping to use these torn wool gloves as linings to increase their warmth, but they are too thin to help anyone in that regard. I had to buy brown jersey gloves which are available locally at a much cheaper price. In retrospect maybe I should have sent them back given the cost. I'm currently using them to cover my hands in bed at night in the winter after applying hand cream to keep my hands from chapping, but I won't be buying another pair.

Not what I wanted Accessory

I had a pair of polypropylene gloves that I got when I was in the army. They were my favorite couple. They were stretchy, kept me warm and fit snugly around my arm. The rest stopped at the base of my thumbs instead of moving up my wrist like most of them these days. I don't like the longest part because it ruins my watch or gets caught on my jacket etc. These gloves did just that. Not what I expected.

  • GOLS certified

  • Doubtful

So I was disappointed that they come with a small hole between the .

I am usually very enthusiastic about Fox River products so I was disappointed that they arrived with a small hole between the thumb and forefinger of one hand. Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until after the markings were removed. They did exactly what I asked them to, which was to fit easily under work gloves (both leather and latex), wick moisture from my hands, and provide extra warmth. They fit me like most gloves of this size, right on the thumb and ring finger but too big elsewhere. I
