Even with the legs assembled properly and tightly, there is a little play where the bars cross in the middle, making it a little wobbly. This is solved by pinching something in free space. I got this chair for my makeshift home office for a new position and wanted a piece I can still use when my job returns to headquarters next year. The chair is incredibly easy to assemble and makes a very stable impression. I'm 5ft 5in, 115lbs and was able to assemble it myself with an electric drill. This is a BEAUTIFUL chair, the perfect addition to my dressing table. At the same time, the leg screws loosen on a daily basis, and more than once I felt my legs move under my weight.
