I managed to install my car audio system. The clear plastic lid feels like it might crack under pressure. Be careful with tabs and the like and you'll be fine.

This is an electroplated aluminum block. Silver color while giving a corner. Not magnetic. Not copper. Not brass. Buyer Warning. If I had known that, I would not have bought it.

Good quality and easy installation. Used two of these for an audio setup on a boat. 4 sensors powered by negative and positive battery and two amps applied; one 8 gauge and one 10 gauge. Worked great.

For $10 a good manifold block. The plastic cover is VERY cheap and will break, but the block itself isn't bad. It tightens and clamps the wire properly. Fur works. Would I buy it again or recommend it? no

This is a good quality manifold block. I've used it to go from 2 gauge wire to 2-8 gauge wire to power multiple amps. Feels well done. The screws have a knurled bottom to grip the wire, which is cool. I recommend adding some solder to your wires before crimping to make a stronger connection and not damage the wires.

The mounting holes for this device are too close to metal. When I bolted it to my shock I didn't realize the bolt was touching the metal block and when I connected the battery it shorted out and blew the fuse. I drilled a hole to prevent the screw from touching the metal. Be careful what type of screw is used for assembly, a flush screw may work better.

Two of these, one for 12v power and one for ground, were used in a Transit van conversion for use with the solar panels, inverter, alternator, lights, pump and fridge. I had to be careful with the aluminum solar cables as they tended to snap the wires when screwed in, but solved it by just removing the front of the insulation, after that everything works fine.

I have 3 amps in my truck so this product is perfect. With multiple amps, you don't need multiple power cords. With this product you only need 1 power cord. With this product I connect 2 gauge from the battery and split it into 4 gauge and 2-6 gauge to my amps instead of 3 wires from the battery to the amps. which by the way is not good for your battery or your sound. I think that works great. Very easy to install, it's not rocket science.
