📱 RMT-AH310U Replacement Remote Control for Sony Soundbar HT-CT800 HT-MT500 HT-ST5000 Review

The replacement I bought for my TV remote did not work as expected. Through trial and error, I found that it was not compatible with my TV model despite being listed as such. This caused a great deal of frustration and wasted time. The only positive was that the customer service team was helpful in processing my return.

This is a cheap item. The buttons on it don't work well. You need to press a few times to get started, and sometimes you need to press a key in a specific way to make it work! Not worth the money!

I bought the Sony HT-ST5000 soundbar in an open box and then realized it was missing a remote control. Ordered this for a much lower price than OEM. The remote worked right out of the box (simply put in two AAA batteries - not included). No entering codes etc. All buttons and functions appear to work well and exactly match the OEM remote control pictures. I've only had it for a few days, so I can't comment on durability (yet).
