upset. - Outdoor activities

Disappointed. I thought it would be better. I'm 6ft 230lbs and this is way too short for me in a hoodie. I was hoping to wear it over a jacket. No way! This is good for thin to medium build men with no outerwear to speak of. The waist belt stretched across my stomach, but it wasn't secure at all. So I removed it. The chest strap was the same but I couldn't get it off so I let it dangle. The seams, zippers, pockets were fine and well made. However, the shoulder straps were simply uncomfortable…

Best Tactical Backpack Under $50

So, I've been looking for an EDC tactical backpack for quite some time, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I was a bit skeptical when I came across the Roaring Fire Gear, but ordered it anyway. Considering they cost $30, it won't bother me much. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this backpack, as well as the fact that it can also hold a hydration bladder. The rubberized lining makes this backpack waterproof which is a big plus. The amount of storage space and internal…

The path is small but well developed.

The small version is intended for small people. If you're a big retired marine, don't buy this. Excellent backpack for a child I do not dispute. Seems well built and could probably carry plenty of water and FDF, other hiking paraphernalia or a bug. The waste belt was half what I needed and I immediately tossed it aside. The shoulder straps fully adjusted and draped over the shoulders and it fit. I'll try it in the desert in a few months. I want to be honest. So what I will say is that it looks…

This little backpack has tripled in size and fits a lot more than you think!

This backpack is bigger than you think, I was surprised how much I could fit in. I conveniently placed 8 water bottles, 3 Army MRESs (ready to eat), some beef jerky and a couple of snack M&Ms. An arsonist, of course, a flashlight and a few smaller bags for my wallet and cell phone. Cool how you can compress and shrink the backpack if you want, or almost triple the size for maximum carrying space. I only put about 12 pounds of supplies in mine and it was still comfortable on my shoulders. All…

Great backpack or "home bag " for the price!

This is a really good "assault backpack" if you buy it for military purposes. It's also the perfect size for day trips or just to pack a few spares you might need when taking the kids out for the day. For the price it's amazing value as it seems to be made out of fairly durable materials and the embroidery is really good. Haven't gone camping with it yet, but I've loaded it with about 15 pounds of junk and worn it for a while just to see how it feels. It was comfortable and rode well on my…
