My son is very fond of shoes. He needs black loafers for his school uniform. He tried about a dozen pairs. Those were the only ones he liked. He wore them for months and liked them even more when they were broken. He has to wear them all day, including a lot of walking. When he outgrew them we went ahead and bought the next size up. Now he's on the third pair. These are the guards. My only complaint is the lack of arch support, which he doesn't seem to notice.

These were serviceable shoes but certainly not "classic" and certainly not "dark brown" but rather a bad tan which they are not very chic but kinda "on purpose." and flashy "made" convincing by accident. They were reasonably well made, but just a freaky slacker mongrel. I immediately returned them and bought burgundy Cole Hahn loafers instead, which were much better and closer to what I needed.

I bought these shoes in the store. it fits perfectly. But then they wore out like shoes. So I bought the exact same shoes in the exact same size online. They don't fit at all. I can hardly get in. It feels like they swapped men's and women's sizes or something. I do not recommend. Unless you had the patience to repackage and send them back. In that case maybe buy three sizes and return the two that don't fit.
