Rockport Men's Caldwell Plaintoe Sneaker - Fashion Sneakers for Men Review

As mentioned in the title, this is a shoe with a nice design. The problem is that they are big and not very comfortable. I followed everyone else's advice and lost half a size. Still a bit long but fine when I'm wearing thicker socks. The soul of the shoe is too soft and needs to be a little stiffer. Arch support is below average but I corrected this with the customer's orthotics. I recommend looking for other similar design shoes with higher ratings and better fit.

I bought these thinking Rockports are always a good sole and instep...wrong. There is no real arch support and healing, just a cheap plastic sole that slides over the cement. Also narrow for a typical Rockport shoe. A bit disappointing and unspectacular. I've worn them a few times and they just don't look like my old Rockports, they wear out quickly - they're not made for long distances...or walking.

For reference, my feet are normal, sneakers 10.5-11, casual shoes 10-10.5. I ordered 10W as I prefer a roomier toe but they were more like 11.5s and very wide like 4Es. After a problem-free return, I reordered two pairs in size 9W and normal size 9.5. The length of the 9W was acceptable but still too roomy so I decided to keep the regular size 9.5 although they were a bit longer as the regular size 9 would have been a little tight for my liking.
