Stylish and Versatile: Rockport Men's City Summer Brown Shoes for Men Review

It was a gift for my 81 year old father. He put them on and wore them all day. He usually puts things aside and ends up coming to them months later. Shoes look very nice and light.

I ordered nubuck/taupe for my husband and it was described as olive on the shoe box, not Revain. Also, he almost always wears a 9.5 and this 9.5 shoe was small.

More comfortable than other boat shoes. I don't think they are all leather. Nowadays most of these are artificial materials, much more than a liter than in previous years.

They were for my husband, he didn't like them. Hard, cheap looking, uncomfortable, looks like plastic not leather, big disappointment. Rockport used to be of good quality. These have been returned.

I usually wear a 9 for loafers, 9.5 for slippers and prefer W to M. I have 9.5 M and it fits very well. A little tight but not stuffy. Keep in mind that sizes vary from model to model, even within the same Rockport brand. I also have Modern Prep 9W moccasins but it's HUGE.

They were comfortable, very easy to put on and take off, while still being secure enough on the foot that they didn't come off at the wrong moment.

Looks more gray than taupe. Great looking shoes. Very convenient. Fits snugly, unlike the Sperry which doesn't fit right

My husband does a lot of outdoor work on his feet. He finds these shoes so comfortable that this is the second pair he has bought, just in a different color. Beautiful, comfortable shoes.

I'm a size I always get with Rockport shoes; 9 W. They are very tight and the tongue has a sharp edge that cuts into my instep.

Bought for my husband. I wish I was a half size up but they fit, albeit snugly. I hope they get better as they wear out. Very attractive shoes.

Good product for home; not for the exit. The previous ratings and comments helped me choose the right size and use the inserts I need. As mentioned in previous reviews, the current slippers/shoes are not of the quality of yesteryear.

This is the second pair he wears. The most comfortable, easy to slip on shoe in a fun neutral color. With daily wear, they don't last long, about 6 months, but for such a price the hold is fine and the old ones in the yard get used to it.

I've always had good luck with Rockports, I own three pairs and they all hold up well considering I'm picky about shoes. The leather material requires maintenance and regular cleaning to preserve its quality.

I liked these shoes so much that I bought a second pair. The first pair are now 2 years old but I refuse to throw them away as they are "well broken in" now. . . although admittedly looks a bit creepy!

The first day after unboxing I spilled some water on the toe of a shoe, dabbed it with a paper towel and the color faded. Now stains. "Product Support" on the Revain website. Manufacturer offered by Rockport. Replace missing or damaged parts. Fix technical problems. Visit the support site or call 1-800-762-57678. A Rockport spokesman said they only support customers who bought shoes on the Rockport website or in their stores, not Revain customers. I then called Revain support. As always Revain…

I bought these shoes in a big department store last summer. These were my favorite summer shoes. They can be worn with shorts or long pants. They can be worn with or without socks. They are easy to put on and take off. This is especially useful since we don't wear shoes at home. We moved in the summer and my favorite shoes accidentally ended up at Goodwill. I was so happy to find her on Revain. I bought them again.

Dozens and dozens of outdoor slippers in a mailbox revisited. None reached the level of construction and comfort of the Rockport slippers I've owned. And Rockport stopped selling slippers! I was thinking of finding something from Rockport, something like slippers but with a better sole and some grip. It has everything - easy to slip on, great for home and shopping, good support (I'm a tall guy so shoe support is important) for the feet and arch. And they look good too.
