Impressive for the price

The sound is clear and does not distort at any volume. Most music can be heard while driving at high speeds. I listen to all the music while driving less than 55 km/h. Direct mounting and wiring. Easy pairing. The lack of a USB drive shuffle function is disappointing. Seams slowly drain the battery. FM radio never worked for me. Sets nothing.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Slightly ragged

Great sound but short-lived

System tested when installed on my 08' XL1200N, everything works fine. After I zipped everything, the system worked but didn't toggle any of the options and stopped giving me any sound. Not sure if it was just a faulty product or not as I can't replace the speakers with new ones as they are out of stock hence two stars.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Loud at 70 mph on speakers

That's about all I can say. I've researched and read the reviews and put more speakers in my cart than I can count. It finally worked with these. So glad I did. 70 mph without a windshield and you can hear them perfectly. They are really noisy. Easy installation if you can get to the battery. Not so easy with the 19th century classic lol. Worth every penny. If you're looking for a speaker and are worried if I'll hear it. You will hear it. This is to buy!

Don't waste your time and money

Installed system on the KTM 1290 Super Adventure. After carefully routing the cables to the battery, I tried out the device. It paired flawlessly with my Samsung phone. I've taken the bike on three rides, all rides on slick pavement. During the third ride, a small screw on one speaker broke. Removes and installs a new screw. On the fourth ride (350 total miles with speakers) the system stopped working. Removed and thrown in the trash (within 30 days).

Used twice and no longer works

Speakers purchased in March, installed in my golf cart in early April and mid April after only using TWICE the controller would not switch from AUX mode to Bluetooth mode or in another mode in this regard. I also can't turn it off without unplugging it. Rockville, manufacturer, contacted by phone and email. At first they said they would help, but now they are silent. Contacted Revain the seller said they were outside the return window and should contact the manufacturer. BEST ADVICE - DO NOT…

  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Good cheap speakers

Took about 2 weeks and covered 700 miles. They sound great, you can hear up to 80 at a little less than full volume. I keep my phone at 3/4 volume and the speaker volume is two clicks above maximum. They're so waterproof I had trouble turning the unit on after heavy rain, but I solved that problem by putting the remote in my handlebar bag. Installation is easy, you just have a lot of cables. So if you don't have a long way from the speakers to the battery, you'll need plenty of room for extra…

NOISY! It's a guard but there's a problem

Grinding a guitar can get shrill. Too many mids. High frequencies are weak. Bass runs well. The handlebar bolts are too long and have too large a diameter. Large Bluetooth range. It can get choppy after 50 feet. If you heard it loud during your last ride, it will turn down to a lower default volume on your next ride. (Connected to the bike accessory, not directly to the battery.) When power is applied, it defaults to AUX audio input. I would prefer Bluetooth by default. UPDATED. The bracket…

DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY AND TIME

So I bought this for my '86 Goldwing as the factory stereo isn't loud enough to be heard. It took about 2 weeks to receive and I was so excited to receive and install it. After about 4 hours of trying to route the cables that came with the kit, I was finally able to install it. Sounds great, a little sizzling at max volume but still VERY loud. Drove it down the road (about 4 miles round trip) at about 80 mph and it was still noisy. After that I rode it about a week later (about 6 miles round…

Good compromise, suitable for motorcycles and competitive athletes

Installed on my 2015 Suzuki V-Strom DL650 with GIVI Airflow windscreen and stock pipe. The bike is very quiet. I don't wear a helmet. Bass. These are 3 inch speakers. Don't expect much. You need bass? Tow a trailer with a subwoofer and a big amp. While these are good speakers, one thing that worries me is that they are advertised as metal speakers. The case is definitely plastic and the brackets are junk (most brands come with bracket junk). Spend another $9 or so and buy some Lamphus mounts…
