Assembled in about half an hour which took me time, the instructions are very clear just make sure you pay attention to the gears so they all line up and the instructions will give you tell how to do it, and also where to lubricate. I will paint more! Super cool little desk toy for my shelf!

The trigger broke after I experimented with adding rubber bands to keep it firing further. An improvised new trigger with a string and a rotating part on the back that served no purpose. It would be great to see this part in a real model. With some bearing to rotate so it can shoot from behind by the rotating crank.

High quality set. The laser cut parts are precise so the set fits together perfectly. One trick I did was to use an unscented white wax tea light candle and toothpick instead of the wax that came in the kit. Light a candle, let the wax melt a little, then dip a toothpick into the hot wax and use it to apply the hot wax. Works like a charm and lets you grow exactly the way you want.
