Where Has It Been All My Life? I had no idea such a thing existed. Yes, I'm not a big baker. With this rolling pin, the dough can be rolled out according to your wishes. Carpet as a gift!

The rolling pin and mat itself are great but the little plastic discs are difficult to use and I feel they are an unnecessary part of the product. They made using the rolling pin more difficult and time consuming so they now sit in my kitchen toilet. I do not recommend using this rolling pin.

The kitchen in my apartment is very small and the cupboards, cupboards and counter space are very limited. I love that this size rug fits on the counter and I love how easy it is to clean. It stays in place on my countertop! :-) I also like that I can roll the baking/dough pan around the rolling pin for easy storage. I like that you can set the desired thickness when rolling out the dough. For the gingerbread house I wanted to make, I needed a thicker batter.
