It is made of soft comfortable material, but the photo is very deceptive.

Made of soft, comfortable material, but the photo is very deceiving for the price. In the photo, all the holes appear to be bent and sewn shut, but they aren't. It's just a loose fabric that opens up at all ends. I ordered it for this feature but it just falls apart like any other medical jersey. So if you're not embarrassed that it comes off easily with every opening, then buy it.

Very convenient! Best in hand and wrist braces

I love these and they are very comfortable but they all have completely raw edges! In the photo all edges appear to have been folded to give a clean and tidy look. In fact, all edges are unfinished and may unravel. They are also naturally off-white in color and not bright white. They certainly make my Spica wrist and thumb brace more comfortable so I will be buying more. I hope I can hand wash them and they won't get damaged. Maybe I'll try hemming the edges of some of them to make them look…

Spica Splint Must-Have

I have to wear a thermoplastic splint for the next 8 weeks and the jersey the doctor gave me doesn't cover my thumb at all. It's very annoying, hot and uncomfortable when my thumb isn't covered. The Rolyan Thumb Spica stocking is awesome! Its length is enough to cover the hoop from edge to edge, including the thumb. The only thing that bothers me is the seam on the thumb. This makes things a bit tight when mounting and removing the tire, but there's no getting around that. I've put them in the…

Makes the thumb splint much more comfortable

I have severe DeCuervan tendonitis on both wrists. My chiropractor made me hard plastic splints to wear while I sleep, and I wear Comfort Cool soft neoprene braces during the day. These thumb socks make wearing both types of orthoses much more comfortable, especially on the thumb. The thumb portion is long, but I just cut it off where I want it. As others have said the edges are unstitched and will bunch up in the wash but I don't mind. I throw them in the laundry and they wash up well. Just…

Breaks down in hours

I bought these to wear under a corset to relieve the pressure and pain a corset can cause. Most braces have velcro, and there are quite a few of those. If you accidentally touch the velcro with that sleeve, it will immediately unravel and keep doing it - like pulling a piece of tapestry/sweater/sock by the thread and that thread keeps pulling out until there's nothing left in a pile of thread. Even if you cut the unraveled thread(s), it will still unravel. Too bad because the thickness and…

Barbed insert essential for comfort

After 8 weeks of wearing a cast after cruciate ligament surgery, the orthopedist expected me to be wearing a plastic splint with velcro straps in direct skin contact. I asked for a sock or liner and all they came up with was tubular knit fabric used to line the bandage. It was thin and disheveled, and most importantly, had no thumb sleeve. I was thrilled when I found her at Revain. Yes, everyone is right, the edges are not hemmed, and they crumble. I tried hemming one of them, it fit my wrist…

not fashionable but very useful

As already mentioned, they are not hemmed and do not bulge at the incisions. But I didn't buy them to look good, I bought them to feel more comfortable in the tire, which is what they do. The size was a problem when ordering as I didn't understand the seller's description. I ordered medium. The sleeve is too wide on my arm and fingers causing it to pinch a bit under the splint, but in terms of comfort it's not noticeable. The thumb is almost too narrow. It stretches to be worn - barely. Both…

Nice gift, elastic (it's good) cooler; UPDATE

Update: I had my first physical therapy appointment yesterday. The therapist who gave me the cast said they were better than the thicker stockings they gave me. She wanted to know where I found her. We've discussed issues with tangling (I don't think they're that bad) and the seam, but the convenience of a stretchy, thinner case really outweighs the annoyance of tangling. I'm back for a second pack as I'll be in this lineup for a while. Three weeks ago I had CMC and carpal tunnel surgery on my…
