Difficult to diagnose the problem.

I bought this again after being happy with the first purchase. It was part of several computer upgrades I built. It wasn't necessarily DOA as it seemed to work at first, but it definitely worked out of the box. It didn't immediately show any problems, but after a week or so I had these bouts of frequent BSODs and then returned to a time when they weren't there anymore, making troubleshooting difficult. It took me some time to eliminate all possible problems. . I RMAed the ram stick I added…

High quality and reliable card. Meets Rosewill's quality expectations.

High quality Wi-Fi adapter. The range is pretty solid and the speed is pretty fast. At my house, a suboptimal Wi-Fi scheme is preventing the laptops on my desk from connecting to my 5 GHz networks. This card with standard antennas can connect to a signal strong enough to achieve transfer rates in excess of 150Mbps, which is enough not to restrict my downstream internet. Apparently these antennas can be upgraded, although I haven't tried it. Make sure you get your drivers *before* installing the

Problems with Windows 10 Update

Installation was easy and everything worked fine for about an hour. Eventually, Windows 10 started finding major updates that my other wireless adapter couldn't seem to handle, so I decided to install them. When the updates were complete I had no wifi and the network troubleshooter couldn't fix it. The device manager doesn't even show the installed adapter. I went through many steps including uninstalling the device in Device Manager, uninstalling the driver, uninstalling the software, etc. and

Absolute Garbage Support

This thing worked fine for a few months until Windows released the latest security update to avoid instability. Now the computer does not recognize this wireless card. The forums are littered with the same problem and uninstalling/reinstalling/disabling/reactivating drivers and card doesn't change anything. I downloaded the latest drivers from Rosewill, but they're junk too. So I did the smart thing and contacted Rosewill support. However, they tell me that the reason why the drivers are not…

Works smoothly with updates 1709 and 1803

Bought this card despite some concerns about FCU 1709 compatibility, but no problems as of April 2018. The card still works perfectly. Installation is a breeze; Remove the PCIe cover from the chassis for each slot you intend to use, insert the card into the mobile device, replace the mounting screw to hold the card in the chassis, and screw in the antennas. As far as performance goes, I don't have it. no real LAN benchmarks to test advertised top speeds, but I've been streaming movies from my…

Excellent speed, seems solid on Windows drivers

I was very nervous about this card. The reviews are worrying. I installed it with some apprehension and tried to use the TP-Link Archer drivers from the TP-Link website but they didn't install. You did not find a compatible card installed. I didn't have an optical drive handy to install the disc that came with the card and was afraid to do so anyway due to the instability reported by other users. So I stuck with the Windows drivers, which I tried to update via Device Manager, but Windows…
