Love the style and can be worn with a pony. The hat appears to be long in height/length. Not sure if I just have a small head or if it's made for people who have bigger/more voluminous hair than me.

I'm a white female with fairly thick, long hair that I can easily pull through the opening at the top of this hat. Even if you wear it carefully, the fabric will sink in after just a few months. It also sits a little awkwardly on my face (right on my glasses, for example) when my hair is pulled through, so it's warm but not necessarily stylish.

This winter I'm often wearing a black ponytail hat, it holds up very well and looks good. Only slightly worn after several washes and wears. My biggest complaint is the color of the red cap. This is definitely NOT the shade you expect when ordering. it's pink I got the "red" hat for my sister and she approves of the color. I'm happy with the black but don't order the red expecting it to be RED.

Bought for two teenage girls. There was a big discrepancy in size - the pink cap was about an inch and a half longer than the black cap (measured from cuff to crown). This style of knit hat is meant to work with either a ponytail or a "sloppy bun." I expected the hole to be formed from the yarn that makes up the hat. Instead, the bodice is gathered with a cheap piece of elastic cord—a white cord for a pink hat; black cord for a black cap. I don't see any worth using by a teenager on a daily…
