Works with my iPhone XR (with case) in landscape and my iPad Air (with case) in portrait. You can rotate without additional locking/unlocking clips. Easy assembly and disassembly thanks to spring-loaded adjustment. I was hesitant to buy it thinking it might be too cheap but it works fine for what I need it for. Watch movies hands-free while sitting in a lounge chair. It is made in China. Let's wait and see if it holds up. No problems after 1 month of use.

This is pretty much what I expected: it will hold most tablets and smartphones (in landscape or portrait orientation relative to the position of the adjustable holder, although it's 360 can be rotated °.)
