Used gas jockey gloves.?

I opened them and they smelled strongly of gasoline. All three pairs despite being individually wrapped. They had a lot of loose laces, had holes (in all six gloves) where the thumb meets the index finger, and were generally tattered and worn out. I thought they must be new? I pulled out a glove (didn't dare go in because of the strong smell!) and tried to light up any loose threads with a lighter. The entire glove immediately caught fire. I won't be returning them because I need something to…

They are NOT 100% wool

They are not 100% wool. They are made of 70% wool and 30% nylon. I need 100% wool glove liners. I use it as an insulating layer in TIG welding. The nylon will melt and burn my hands. The gloves were also larger than expected. I think a few washes might solve the problem. The fabric feels really good in the hand. By default, Revain did not allow me to return this product. After speaking to customer service I was able to send it back but I still had to pay for shipping.

Ouch! Sports and Outdoors

I bought these as "earplugs" expecting them to be quite thick and thin material but they are not. The gloves are quite large but with short fingers, which I think would be great for a guy with fat short hands, and my fingers aren't long enough. These are thick "gloves" that are great for cold weather, but again, they're meant to be balaclavas. The only gloves I could fit them into would be mittens or gardening gloves unless you're buying gloves two sizes up, but if you're buying them as…

Great economical gloves for everyday use in the cold.

Well I've known wool military gloves since my dad was in the army. These are the same ones I remember from my childhood with my father's old ones. Yes, they are a little prickly at first. It does wear out a bit over time and the people who have complained are kinda funny. Those are wool gloves, folks! Do you really expect them to feel like silk? As mentioned in other reviews they state that they are 100% wool which is a bit misleading as it is a blend of wool and nylon. I can't remember if that

Cons
  • I don't really dislike it, it's ok

I used these while hiking the Appalachian Trail. They perfectly protected my hands from chafing on hiking poles and warmed them in the cold mountains. When it was very cold or rainy I wore these waterproof mittens under the waterproof mittens and this combination worked very well for me. When hiking with poles, your arms are always open and exposed, this combination makes you practically invulnerable to cold and rain. I just had to make sure something sealed it around my wrist.

Great hunting and fishing gloves

I have used GI gloves as winter gloves for many years and these are some of the best I have had. When you need extra warmth, tuck one pair inside the other and you've got a pair of outdoor gloves for those really cold days.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Sad gear

I love these gloves. Good for hunting

I had a pair of these gloves when I was in the Air Force and they have lasted 30 years so if they last as long as these I am very happy I love them it's just how light they are and my hands get cold in them when it's cold but for driving and stuff like that outside not for the cold they're great.

  • Always liked

  • Nothing here

Gloves are ok for the price

UPDATE - These gloves are not good. They're so prickly that I (and I love wool) can't stand them for more than a few minutes. They even scratch my wrists. The wind blows directly through the fabric. They're too slippery to ride (which is why I bought them in the first place...those first 10 minutes of winter riding). Dirty wool gloves. Good price. I'm a guy who wears these "knitted gloves" a lot. It's winter in New York right now and it's "Wool Jersey Gloves" LOL. No better and no worse. Buy a…

My other half loves her!

Christmas present for my ex military man. This is the only type of gloves he wears. His last pair lasted for years and this one is expected to follow. He wears them all the time. And loves her. In fact, he was looking for something real for a long time and was surprised when I found him 2 pairs! He keeps one in every car and uses it as a driving glove.
