You have to LOVE wool! Use the size chart Military Glove

Bought on the recommendation of a good friend, very satisfied! Very comfortable/cozy gloves that fit well. For anyone confused about the sizing system. You must find the Army Gloves Size Chart! My hands measure 8.5 inches around the palm which is = military size 5.

Good product for the price

I use them as part of a 2 or 3 piece glove system. First layer silk gloves with these next and then sometimes unlined leather gloves on top. These gloves are nice and warm and breathable. However, they are also (IMHO) abrasive and I wouldn't wear them as a first layer without a liner. The temperature has recently dropped to 16 degrees and my hands have stayed warm and dry thanks to these gloves which have become the focal point of my glove system. This is a good product for the price

Budget warmth is best in men

Look, I'm a simple guy. and these work. They're cheap, fit as well as any military garment, and fit either hand. Pros: Cheap Moderate warmth - better suited as a balaclava or on calm cold days Reversible - you can easily turn the glove over and it fits either hand. dry quickly Disadvantages: if you do not use them for a while, they itch. The fingers are not anatomically correct but not enough to bother you, maybe I needed a smaller size. You see, they're a step above the rags. They are a blend…

Excellent wool/nylon insulating gloves for use under large gloves

They make excellent glove liners. They are not intended for long-term autonomous use. As with the cold weather base layer, they make an excellent insulating layer under large gloves. I use them under thicker gloves for housework. The product page contains contractual statements about the composition of the material at the time of writing this article. I checked the Rothco website for these gloves to make sure they were 70% merino wool and 30% nylon. Here is a link to the Rothco glove size…

You do the work.

I bought these gloves to replace the ones we got from my ROTC. Competing in rain and snow, they endured much abrasion in the forest while swimming ashore and training with stretchers and ammo boxes. Hands in the arctic don't get warm at all. However, this is another layer to wear over your hands in rain and moderate snow. These are inserts only, but they match their description. My only criticism would be that they are snugger on the fingers to use for popping buttons and things that would…

Pretty rough, pretty thick.

I used to use under gloves (Smartwool NTS250), they are much thicker and feel rougher. But they're also a bit cheaper and probably warmer (winter isn't over yet, not sure). They fit larger gloves than my other pads and add volume to your hands. As gloves I would use them when I need dexterity and due to their bulk I can't wear smartwool+glove liners but when it's not cold enough to need smartwool+glove liners. And when it gets really cold, they replace the smart wool lining with thicker gloves.

A worth buying among Gloves & Mittens

The sizing has me confused so for those of you wondering size 4 is perfect for my medium sized hand. Not too tight, not too buggy. So I think the sizes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 are XS, S, M, L and XL respectively. These liner gloves are a mix between gloves and liners: too thick for liners, too thin for gloves. They're warm but not windproof, meaning they're good in cold temperatures but not in windy conditions. They are also not very soft, but can tear over time. At least the quality seems good and it…

About what you'd expect for a price <$10

These gloves are pretty decent at $9. They look like tough wool and are thicker than expected. I bought these to use as liners for cycling gloves when regular gloves weren't warm enough and they are actually so thick that they don't fit my windproof gloves as hoped, but barely fit my large ones. thick ski gloves If you want to use them as a liner, make sure that the gloves they are worn under have enough space. The left and right parts are identical and they have wrist writing which leads me to

Torn threads, holes, itching, terrible quality

I bought these knowing full well that they wouldn't be of the highest quality - they cost $9. Although I didn't expect them to be that bad. The biggest problem is loose and unfinished themes. Between each finger is a long unfinished thread that they didn't tie with any kind of knot (I tried two different pairs and they both had the same issues). In addition, each fingertip has a thread loop that can easily get caught. They itch - make me appreciate my expensive merino wool clothes. The only…
