Is the vintage style D ring belt small?

Although the belt is exactly what I ordered and will do the trick; I want the width to be specified. It's too wide for some of my belt loops. The length was perfect despite being made from durable materials. My last D-ring belt was thrown away because one of the rings broke in half. The metal rings and the thickness of the braid speak for a quality product.

Alternative use in belts

I don't usually wear belts that wide, but I needed this belt for another reason. I have a Rothco backpack with a belt for better weight distribution. This belt has a plastic clip for easy removal and a "slider" that allows you to tighten the belt. I lost this strap on a trip and rather than replace my backpack or scare the good folks at Rothco I bought this as a replacement. The belt is wide but fits in the backpack loops. Perfect belt with D ring.

If you like regular D-ring belts, look no further, here it is. Rothco Military Web Expeditionary Type D Ring Belt This Rothco belt is what I've been looking for for years. Its width is about 2 inches, which is usually enough for a belt. The fabric is strong and thick. The D rings are solid. I ordered a large because I have a 33.5/34 waist and this is where the large size starts. I found it to be overly loose and also tightened to what I believe is 34.5 inches - just over.
