If you like regular D-ring belts, look no further, here it is. Rothco Military Web Expeditionary Type D Ring Belt This Rothco belt is what I've been looking for for years. Its width is about 2 inches, which is usually enough for a belt. The fabric is strong and thick. The D rings are solid. I ordered a large because I have a 33.5/34 waist and this is where the large size starts. I found it to be overly loose and also tightened to what I believe is 34.5 inches - just over. It's still very comfortable, but if you want a snug fit and your size is somewhere on the threshold or between "small, medium and large" I might *recommend going down a size. I paid $7.50 for it which is very cheap without any components about the price. It was shipped quickly.
