🛩️ Rothco Vintage Canvas Flight Black: Timeless Style & Durability Combined Review

This bag is a lot bigger than I thought it would be, which is good because I can fit a change of clothes, my netbook and a few other things in it. The straps are strong and won't bother hands even if they have a lot of things. The material used is thick, heavy canvas. I will definitely benefit from this bag.

One of the D-rings was missing from my item (done during assembly). The ribbon was dangling loose and was wrapped and sealed that way. Since I like the bag, I replaced it with a double loop screwgate carabiner and the attachment works perfectly. When are companies in the US going to start doing these things again and resuming quality control? The design of the packaging is good, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

This bag didn't meet my needs because the canvas was too thin - no padding - but the bag itself if itself choosing to only wear soft materials like clothing or bedding was a typical Rothco standard. The stitching, material and fittings were solid. The zipper opens all the top 3/4 of the bag for quick access and the straps feel secure. I didn't like the external open top pocket, but I suppose it would have advantages if you were carrying things you need quick access to and not needing items that

Fantastic bag! I took off one of the straps (easy to put on and take off) and crossed it to make a shoulder bag. I bought yellow electrical tape to drown out all the metal - it goes perfectly with the yellow. It's really comfortable and has room for most of the gear you'd expect or expect from a bag like this, but it doesn't have any real padding. So if you use them for electronics like laptops or whatever, get a cheap Revain base case. at least to keep it safe. I really wish I had had…

I've had this bag for a few weeks now. I don't use it like young people. (e.g. as a backpack) I prefer to carry it by the handle at the top and remove the shoulder straps. he has held up surprisingly well. Some have complained about the zippers, but they worked great for me. While the material is durable I would have preferred a thicker cotton canvas quality (hence 4 stars instead of 5) but other than that this is fine for carrying things like a change of clothes, a couple of books and whatever

As a former paratrooper, I wanted a backpack that looked like a paratrooper and didn't scream "motivator".
