Rovectin Clean Lotus Water Calming comes in a clear colorless plastic bottle. The toner itself is also colorless and transparent and resembles water in consistency. Draws in almost immediately. It is distributed by shaking it out of the hole. It is a hydrating, non-stringy toner that can be used as a light first layer of moisture before serums and creams. The main ingredients are lotus water and lotus extracts, which contain high levels of antioxidants and have a calming effect on the skin. Itโ€ฆ

Suitable for sensitive combination skin; Non-greasy, virtually fragrance-free

Composed primarily of lotus water (40%) for soothing and hydrating, this aqueous toner from Rovectin comes in a plain plastic bottle with a 6.7-ounce spout, which is $22 at the time of writing cost. Fair price considering the first ingredient is lotus water and not Jane's regular water and six other moisturizers before the highlighted ingredient. It's loaded with multiple humectants, but also free of oils, astringents, exfoliants, and has the right pH. Can be used morning and night and blendsโ€ฆ

Maybe too moisturizing for me.

(3.5 stars) I don't like toners that leave a sticky, sticky or filmy feel on the skin. I love that my skin looks fresh and clean after using it. Unfortunately, most of the toners I've tried lately do the former and not the latter. This is an example. It leaves a slightly oily feeling on the skin. The ingredients seem ok. The list includes many natural ones interspersed with conventional synthetic ones. I believe the big draw of this particular toner is lotus water. Apparently beneficial andโ€ฆ

Soothes and is ideal as the first care step after cleansing.

First, I have oily combination skin that can be very sensitive depending on the cycle. I have around 10-15 toners each day so I can choose and use the toner based on my task at hand (exfoliating, extra cleansing, soothing, hydrating, soothing, etc.). I use it as a 1st or 2nd step tonic after cleansing my face. (after exfoliation or additional cleansing tonic, but before moisturizing the skin). I liked that it doesn't have a noticeable, overpowering smell as I'm very sensitive to smells andโ€ฆ
