This is a very beautiful, durable fine mesh Chinese style fabric. This is ideal for making raspberry jam/jelly, working with creams or making soups. You can't go wrong with this. It's nice and big and will cut down on your work time compared to most others at Revain. Make sure you have a good quality wooden pestle if you don't have one. I'm so glad I went ahead and ordered this large one.

I returned this crockery because it was more than I needed. I thought less - I didn't pay much attention to the dimensions. However, if I were to cook more or cook for more people, this piece would be perfect. It was very durable and I was surprised at how cheap it was for such a large filter (another reason I was fooled by its size). This is a high quality and definitely commercial strain.

PRO: Yes, this strainer has a very fine mesh size. The build quality is strong and durable. The size is good - the big mouth can hold a lot of stuff. Good price for a decent screen. CONS: No, it's not good enough to be a real Chinese! Real Chinua is a three-layer fine mesh - that's just one layer. When used in combination with another fine mesh strainer (I used a fine mesh strainer above) you get close to desired liquid/broth results with no solids, good enough for a perfect velvety sauce.

These Chinese trousers are definitely very good!. The mesh is thin enough to remove strawberry seeds, which is what I was looking for. It's very well made, durable and the shiny stainless steel looks great. The only problem I had was the size. This thing is very big. Full dimensions: from the top of the cylinder to the "base" - 9 inches, from the top of the handle to the top of the "hook" - 18 inches. Unfortunately I had to return it, but the choice of return was strictly related to the size.
