Royal Machines Extreme 7 PDA: Advanced Electronic Organizer with 2MB Memory and 6-Line RoyalGlo Backlit Display Review

The Royal Extreme 7 is a complete organizer with everything that makes it easy to use. Unfortunately mine wasn't unusable as it couldn't be read because there were lines on the screen. The product was packaged very well, but I find the case to be a bit flimsy. I didn't return the product because I live in Australia and it will probably cost too much.

This electronic organizer is a waste of money. The instructions in no way tell you how to operate this PDA. In fact, I'm so tired of bringing it to work that it's time for Revain to issue a normal refund. Revain should be ashamed that they put this piece of junk up for sale. Someone with more electronics knowledge might find this device as they expected, but my experience was far from satisfactory. The PDA programming was a total disaster - I can't do it. The PDA I was using prior to this purchase was Sharp and I have been using it successfully for about 10 years. I want to return this device and replace it with something I can program.

Very poorly written user manual. Doesn't work with Vista OS and Royal support was very poor. Also the USB driver for the sync cable is untested and causes problems with printers. It is necessary to unplug the USB printer when using the sync cable and the printer may not work after the PC restarts. I wouldn't call that a quality product these days. Just pass it on!

I ordered this as I needed a basic PDA for data storage. I didn't need internet access, email or any of the fancy stuff that can be had for a lot more money. This little device was perfect for my needs! The program for synchronizing with the computer also works perfectly. Not fancy but works well. The small price is worth it for anyone who only needs data storage but no other frills.
