We bought the first one from a small boutique that was closed. Thank god we can get them here. All other tea balls disintegrate in the cup or have plastic parts that become uncomfortable.

I wanted a better tea infuser than my old one (similar to the Snap Mesh Tea Ball Infuser) because it didn't work with thinner teas, and myself I would still get rubbish with coarser teas. Unfortunately, the sieve on this brewer is coarser than I would like. That doesn't mean it doesn't work. This is a great infusion machine. The problem with brewers (IMHO) is that they are never big enough to hold enough tea. This one is no exception. The whole block is a pretty good size, but the tea cage is pretty standard. If you overfill it, the tea will get quite thick and won't brew properly. Using a very small amount of tea and simply letting it steep longer will give you the perfect cup of tea. And the strainer fits perfectly in its own little container that prevents messy spills. I mostly drink tea when I'm at my desk, so convenience is very important, especially when it comes to cleaning and maintenance. The included container makes it easy to prevent spills or drips when removing the infuser from the tea. Also, there are no real moving parts, making it easy to empty and clean. I also really like the screen. I didn't have too many leaves or debris seeping into the tea liquor that I've experienced with other products. The only thing I would change is to set some kind of
