Many flaws - kitchen and dining room

Pros: Excellent container. Cons: The lid is a new invention of the lid with everything wrong. No one mounts a handle on the lid. The handle hits the spout lid when trying to use it for pouring. The seal is not built in, it just sits waiting to pop out or seal incorrectly. The handle should be on the container, the seal in the lip, and the lid for the price should be metal.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Sad packaging

Buy now! fits thermos flasks

I've had this water jug for about 2 weeks and I love it. I'm 6'4", 260 lbs. and need lots of water. Who needs to spend over $140 for more or hydroflask for cold water? With cold water and 2 ice buckets, it easily stays cold for 3 days with ice. Longer if you have more Use ice It stays cold 16 hours every day when I'm not at home and I keep it on my living room table so I don't get up every 15 minutes to fill my cup with water Freezes even when it's in the middle was left in the car all day in…

Lid is loose or not secure

Not at all. The lid comes off after about half a turn. The threads are not deep enough to secure it. The first time I filled it and held it by the handle, the cap came off and the bottle fell to the floor, crumpled my newly renovated hardwood floor. Just thank you for not landing on my foot. At first I thought I just closed the lid wrong. Until my husband got into the kitchen and tried to put it on tighter and noticed that it only takes a half turn for the lid to come off completely. Unless…

I like it, but for the kitchen and dining room

Cools well, but has two main problems in my opinion. you don't pull it It seems to me that when tightened, the rubber ring flexes and creates a gap, causing your fluid to leak out. #2 The hole that liquid comes out of is very small. Less than 3/4 inch. With no other air hole coming out, this is difficult at best. I use my teapot and with ice it lasts 2 or 3 days so I pour it into a mug. It sprays a ton and pours very unevenly. I had the Walmart version which had a much larger spout that poured…

Fiction! To hell with the Yeti!

While shopping at a sporting goods store with my son, we saw a Yeti gallon mug that would be perfect for his soccer practice. He told me the price on the shelf was $41, which I think is high, but to be honest I bought hundreds of dollars worth of equipment for him at the time and figured it was better than lugging around two smaller pitchers. He used it for 3 days and it was great and kept ice cream for 3 days! Until I looked at the bill. I stupidly paid $129 for a Yeti mug! After hitting him…

Finally a gallon sized stainless steel pitcher

Holds over half a gallon of water when filled with ice and after 24 hours still has over half the ice. LOVE IT! I recommend getting a 5/16 inch wide, 14 inch long stainless steel straw along with a silicone straw tip (I got both on Amazon) if you want to drink straight out of it. Because of her size and weight, especially if she's overweight, constantly getting up to drink from it can become a chore. The only thing I'd like to find is a nylon tote bag like it's made for 40 ounces. and 64…

Everything is fine except the cover and customer service RTIC

The jug is beautiful and holds the temperature well (I live in Phoenix so this is a challenge for any jug). The top cover does not close smoothly, so you have to try several times to tighten it until it "seizes" the threads. The plastic doesn't look that strong and sooner or later loses the threads at the top. I emailed customer service to see if they sell or recommend a better lid (probably from a different brand). In response, I received the following email: Kayla (RTIC Coolers) Sep 13 at…

The seal is not strong, causing leaks

I like that it keeps cold water cold all day. 3 months license plate. Mine is almost completely gone. 2) The cover o-ring started to loosen after 1 1/2 months. Now it flows. I tried gluing it but same problem because you have to tighten it like crazy so it doesn't leak even before the gasket wears out. This is a strong friction on the ring. 3) If you have trouble opening tomato sauce, you won't like this cooler. I have no complaints. But the second is obviously of great importance. 6 months…

This water bottle saved my life in the field

I don't normally write reviews but this water bottle exceeded my expectations in every way. I am not joking or exaggerating with my claims. First, it's a fraction of the cost of other water bottles. It could be a fake yeti, but I didn't want to throw 128 on a water bottle just yet. This thing is about half the price and worth every penny of hydration. This water bottle kept me from drying out in the field. Not to mention the blue matte color which is so pretty and smooth. I work in the field in
