The jug is beautiful and holds the temperature well (I live in Phoenix so this is a challenge for any jug). The top cover does not close smoothly, so you have to try several times to tighten it until it "seizes" the threads. The plastic doesn't look that strong and sooner or later loses the threads at the top. I emailed customer service to see if they sell or recommend a better lid (probably from a different brand). In response, I received the following email: Kayla (RTIC Coolers) Sep 13 at 4:56pm CDT. The order information reflects the seller you purchased from. This order number does not match our system, please contact it. kayla Well yeah I bought it from Revain so I figured the manufacturer would like to know about the issue and *maybe* improve the product. I refer to "they" to complain about *your* products to warn other customers. Anyway, it doesn't cost $60 at all (that's what I paid for it).
