red cover picture new; The photo with the blue cover is very old. I wanted more like blue, but nobody else wore it. That's great. Holds a sack of sugar or a sack of flour. Love it.

I have nothing to say except that I had a few of these before buying 2 more They are strong, sealed and easy to use. There are no hinges to break, and the seal is neither useless nor weak. They are a good size too. I recommend this product for storing anything you want to keep "fresh".

The plastic from the exhaust was terribly made. After two days in those canisters, I had to throw out all of my sugar, flour, and cornmeal. The smell was awful, smelled like flour etc. It wasn't safe to eat it in such a short time!

Shaft body with defective seals (on both lids). I contacted the manufacturer and it was an incredibly tough battle to get them replaced. Very annoyed. Now I'm stuck with defective bins and lost $$ because the manufacturer stopped communicating.

Why does Rubbermaid still use super adhesive labels that won't peel? I now have a container of sticky residue where the label used to be. I tried alcohol, hot soapy water, dishwasher. Nothing completely removes the remains of the label.

I use this particular size for my hot cocoa mix. And I've been using this particular brand and size container for years and just replaced it. Perfect Size Blend: 1 bag/box milk powder (makes 8 pieces in one size)1. 8 ounce container of cocoa powder. Pour into the bath and sprinkle the rest with sugar. Then I pour it into a large blue bowl and put it back in the storage tub. Use 1/3 scoop in a cup of hot water.

Just received storage boxes from Rubbermaid. I certainly won't call it a loaf holder. I've used Rubbermaid for storing loaves of bread for many years as it has a rounded top, similar to old loaves of bread with rounded tops that protrude slightly past the rim of the pan on the loaf. I'm guessing Rubbermaid doesn't make them anymore, but that should be easy. I'm not very happy with the new one as it's also not that high or long depending on usage and you can't put a full loaf of sliced sandwich…
