I love that they stack, lids and bowls and you have one lid for all the different sized bowls. What the bowls can hold is amazing, and then for leftovers, great to go from fridge to microwave. The lids close but aren't too difficult to open (I have carpal tunnel).

These styles of Rubbermaid food storage bowls have long been my favorites for storing food in the fridge. I recommend them for this purpose. Although the advertisement mentions that they are safe to use in the microwave, my experience has been that they are not suitable for microwave use.

value for money. Easy to fill, empty, wash, rinse and repeat. You will never get enough of this practical storage container. Every Sunday evening we ship leftovers home in these containers. The only problem is that we often don't get them back, so we order more. Good source, price and delivery to the door!

I love these bowls because of the vented lids that take away the stress and uncertainty of microwave cooking. I used to worry that if I added too much water, the oatmeal would blow off the lid and explode in the microwave. I had the same problem with every dish that contained eggs. But vented lids solve all those problems! Why didn't they think of that sooner?

Rubbermaid always make great, thick containers that last. BUT. Good luck removing the large labels! They don't come off cleanly and don't dissolve with water, the paper comes off and all the glue is left behind. No amount of soaking will dissolve it. If I hadn't "walked slime" I would never have removed the glue. It REALLY annoyed me. ONE hour of my life removed labels from 3 containers. I then had to wash the outside 4 times with dish soap to get the slime out. Very very annoying. It would be…
