🧹 Rubbermaid Comfort Grip Dustpan and Brush Set - Easy Dirt Pickup with Rubber Edge Review

This is just a regular brush and dustpan, no better than any other cheap ones. The primary reason for the one-star rating is the totally inappropriate inclusion of spikes at the top of the shovel. They don't seem to have any function other than stabbing your hands when you pick them up, making them *worse* than any other shovel.

Comes as one large piece of white plastic and two thin black plastic strips and a brush. I don't know how to assemble/glue. The black stripe in the picture looks like flexible rubber but is hard (brittle) plastic. Not suitable for small particles or uneven surfaces. The equivalent of $5 at your local hardware store.

Nice design but I prefer the old bristles to the black plastic bristles. I'm happy with that. When I have small jobs around the house, it's not as cumbersome as a big broom. With dogs (pets) it has been used a lot. I don't mind that the bin and handle are made of durable plastic, but the bristles? We should try to reduce plastic, right? The old stubble also moved better.

I am writing this review mainly to show people the rubber strip with the attached photo as some people had problems with the rubber strip not laying flat. The one I received was just perfect. The rest of the scoop combo is, well, the scoop is good and powerful. The brush seems to work, but doesn't "snap" into the handle as noticeably as the brush in the combo I'm replacing. I always thought all dust bags were pretty much the same and definitely never thought I would be picky about a dust bag but here I am.
