I was apprehensive about investing in yet another pitcher, but after trying this product, I am pleasantly surprised. The Rubbermaid Gallon Classic Pitcher has proven to be an excellent addition to my Home and Kitchen essentials. It is sturdy, lightweight, and remarkably long-lasting. Making iced tea has never been easier; all I have to do is pop in some tea bags and fill it up with water. However, the cons are that the pitcher's spout can sometimes be tricky to pour and tends to leak.

The jug is great for making iced tea, lemonade and even plain water as the jug can be placed on the top shelf of the fridge. Very durable, no plastic smell, easy to clean. We love using it, especially since it's summer! Since it's plastic, there's also no chance of the glass breaking on our deck.

When you mix something in this jug it spills over the rim. You need to fill 3/4 of the way, add the mixture and beat. When used for nutrients, there is absolutely no room in the pitcher to add liquid to a "full gallon" of water. Overall decent quality, but an extra inch or two above the 1-gallon mark makes taking it out of the fridge and pouring in the first shot of the mixed drink a lot less messy.
