The word "disposables "

They're ridiculously fragile. Lids don't fit properly. Not sealed and will not prevent leaks. So disappointing Rubbermaid. I have personally bought them from a real store before and they are heavier and obviously of a different quality. I washed them in the dishwasher and ruined a few of them. I won't be back because of the low price, but be careful; You get what you pay for. We'll use them to distribute leftovers when we don't expect the containers to be returned. Revain needs to take note of…

Laziness factor: HIGH. health factor. HIGH. Everyone wins.

It's great. I use them as motivational snacks. Once a week I chop up a ton of carrots and celery sticks and put them in these containers with some dressing or sauce in a little tank so all I have to do is reach into the fridge when I feel like a snack, crunchy, and a little veggie plate is ready for one! Let's be serious, I will never stop doing what I'm doing and start peeling carrots whenever I feel the urge to eat. I'm almost looking forward to the vegetables, because at least they're…

Incredibly fragile

Bought and immediately washed in the dishwasher because I wanted to use it right away. After washing, while unloading the dishwasher, I accidentally dropped one of them on the floor from a height of no more than 2 feet. The floor cracked on impact! I can kick my plastic Glad cases across the room without scratching them, but these Rubbermaid cases are junk. where they end up as I had two hacks within the first month. I don't know how it got on the market. Very disappointed in the Rubbermaid…

Garbage! Broke on first use!

Got them to replace IDENTICAL containers that have lasted me for over 10 years. The old ones were discarded and eventually started breaking due to age and use. I liked them so much I decided to buy the same Rubbermaid set. They come and I pack food in for my wife and I to take with us the next day. Needless to say, both my wife's bin and mine broke on the first use! The jar my wife took had the tab on the lid just loosened. The container I took had a nice tear along the inside edge of the…

When I received this today I can't believe it's Rubbermaid as I've read it many times bought from this company years. The plastic material is very flimsy (the kind you'd expect to find in a 99 cent store) but the main downside to these containers is that the lids don't fit properly and can't be held onto the base container. do you just sit back? Of course, they couldn't hold onto the food without spilling the contents. I imagine a person could use large rubber bands to hold the lids in place…

Size works on several levels.

I made Chocolate and Caramel Pecan Turtles for Christmas to share with family and neighbors. The size of the container was perfect, it kept the shape of the little turtles and presented them perfectly inside. I was lucky enough to return one or two of my empty containers after the turtles were eaten; Apparently the recipients liked the containers too. Using this idea, try adding a paper lace doily to create a pretty presentation. I live alone and the size is perfect for freezing portions and…

Great containers at a good price.

I have been using the single chamber version of this product for several years now. I almost ruined a couple of these with microwave settings. But the ones I almost ruined only had spots that were slightly thawed. The problem was not with the product itself, but with my heating method. If you want to load pork chop, hamburger, meat with gravy and/or butter. Check your microwave settings. Most microwave ovens have a "reheat" or "dinner plate" mode that does more than just time and let go. Kill…
