My daughter is 10 years old and 54 inches tall. I gave her big kids and she fits great. It's also a nicer quality than some of the nylons I've seen. Consider these Snuggie blankets. it's almost like that stuff. Far from the quality of the robes from the official store, but a good deal that won't cost more than $100 AND will be warm for our frosty Halloween. Let's see how it holds up.

It's a bit long (just touching the ground) but it gives him some room to use for a few more years if he wants to. I was torn between medium and large as it falls between sizes. The big one is a bit long, but it doesn't drag on the floor and worst case scenario I could wear it up a bit for Halloween.
