I bought a youth size L for my very tall 6 year old son (4 1/2 feet, 80 pounds). It was somewhere between the listed MED and LRG sizes, so we went with the roomier option. Since I can sew and have a sewing machine I decided to adapt it which was very easy. The burgundy lining is pretty flimsy and cheap so I attached it with a few stitches to keep it from bunching up and looking sticky around the collar. By adding a few stitches, the lining began to look a little more premium. I also slightly trimmed the cuffs and trimmed the length of the robe so it came down to mid-calf on my son. He's in kindergarten so he could walk around in it and wear it during the day without the sleeves dragging and getting in the way. After a few major changes, the robe looked like it was made especially for him and he liked it. A little disappointing is the clasp that keeps the robe closed. It disassembles with a good pull and is easily lost with regular use of the suit. But for one day - it did the job!
