Great fit, high-quality workmanship

I had to move a few bumps on the 70s blazer. They fit perfectly, heavier than the original I think. Concerned I didn't check the width of the shocks but they were spot on!

Pros
  • upholstery and holders
Cons
  • slightly torn

Modification Required

I have a 2002 Silverado 1500 LS. These brackets did not fit my truck and I did not have to modify the bracket and shock absorbers. The brackets were shorter and not as wide as the original brackets on my truck and the screw holes were small. To get this job done I had to drill out the bolt holes and turn the shock pin bushings. George.

First check your shock absorbers. Bilstein doesn't fit.

I gave these 4 stars because they are well made. good thick steel. However, they don't fit. They are about 1/8 inch too narrow to fit the Bilstein shocks. Also the screw hole is 1/2" as advertised but apparently it should be 5/8". I put them on a 2001 Chevy Silverado HD. So take your advice. Good quality but make sure you get the right size before welding.

Pros
  • Shocks, Struts and Suspension
Cons
  • Some issues
