how much I didn't push, I had to remove the insert that made the hole too small then they were too big forcing me to fill the holes with liner material so they stayed and worked correctly.

These are cast aluminum grips. They allow light to escape from the gap between the bezel and the handle. They fit so tight that you may find it difficult to take them off. They probably won't break like plastic, but your friends will laugh at you.

These grips DO NOT fit properly. I bought them for my 2001 TJ, they go further but don't press deep enough for the button to sit flush with the air control panel. They stick out about 1/4 inch, allowing for the lantern's light when driving at night. VERY NOT HAPPY.

This is a great replacement for Jeep plastic grips that are breaking and falling off. Plus they just look cool. I read all the reviews that said they fit snugly. Yes they are there but they continue with a firm push and don't fall off. I am very happy with these things!

Not at all what they advertise!1. They are not aluminum but plastic with a very shiny silver finish. I only suspect I'll be returning them, but I bet these pins won't stand the test of time and will start cracking and peeling. Again, I'm just guessing as I've only had it for 2 days.
