There is nothing to complain about about this product. While I agree I wish it was steel, but it's pretty durable. It holds most fast food soda cups you can find. You should always drink with a lid while using this, but if you do you'll be fine. Don't expect perfection from a $10 item. you have a jeep It's durable

They are plastic. Pictures are very deceptive. The design is tailored to the place of their installation. But if you don't have a lid or lid on your drink of choice (and even if you do, like coffee lids with a drinking hole), it'll rattle, vibrate, and spill your drink all over the place. I mean, it's a Jeep and they're not known for soft, smooth suspension. So no problem for cola with a lid. And here is a cup of coffee without a lid and lid, good luck with it!

Installs in minutes. The mounting holes are slotted so installation was easy. You can't see it in the photo, but the cup holders are attached pretty well at the bottom. It also offers space for a coffee cup. After setting it up, I drove to McDonald's and ordered a large Coke - more than I usually carry with me - and the cup holder held it securely and didn't sag under the cup's weight. I find it convenient that the cup holder can hold whatever I want to carry in it.

I like it as much as most people thought it was metal it's plastic and seems very easy to break. why not make it out of metal? Also, they only fit in 16-ounce skinny soda and water bottles or 12-ounce cans. Most water and soda bottles are 20 ounces or larger. they will not fit. I end up searching the convenience store for slim drink bottle coolers that fit and that doesn't leave me many options. You need to change the design to fit the most common bottle sizes.

I, like almost every other reviewer, had the stupid delusion that they are made of at least some light alloy. To my surprise, upon arrival I found that they were made of a relatively flexible plastic composite material. To me, that's not a breach of contract terms, just a deviation from expectations. Easy install with a set of torx sockets (which you must buy if you have a jeep!) Perfect fit for my YJ. Yes, they're plastic, but they look pretty solid. I run topless so I prefer something that gets wet and rusty.
