Solution of problems. for gearbox and gearbox

This stopped my gearbox from vibrating after I installed my 2.5 inch lifter. This small update made a big difference. Worth the money and durable.

Transfer case worth every penny Transfer case components

I installed a 2.5" cross country lift on my TJ and got a slight transmission vibration. It was very easy to install and the hardware is really well made. Works smoothly now, like clockwork.

Great but be very careful with the various screws in the kit.

In general a good product. The kit contains screws for 97-02 TJ and 03-06 TJ. The only confusing part is that for the 97-02 TJ you remove the OEM hex head bolts and install tapered bolts as that is the correct thread and bolt size. The kit also includes a hex bolt, but this is a replacement for the 03-06 bolt with a different thread than the 97-02 bolts. It would be nice to have some general instructions so you don't have to figure everything out and possibly mix up nuts.

Vibration not optimal in transmission and power transmission

Installed this transfer case kit on a 1992 YJ with a 3" body rise and 2 1/2 suspension rise. I was experiencing a lot of vibration and the sliding fork was a bit out of balance. I was concerned that a 1" drop kit wouldn't be enough to eliminate the vibrations, but it was, and the sliding fork actually went into the rear a bit too. I had to use the inside due to the body lift combined with trim the 1" drop kit. Also be sure to use anti-seize compound on new bolts. Comes with two bolts of…

You get what you pay for

No wonder this kit is cheap. The spacers are heavy duty hard plastic which seems normal but don't have a metal sleeve like the other kits. I'm not sure about the durability of the plastic spacers, but they compress where the spacer meets the nut on the bottom of the frame. After tightening them to 40lbs I removed the spacers 3 days later and since they were compressed they were much looser than when installed. At least I would double check the tightness of the screws. Tip, whichever kit you…
