The bag is great for my walks, although I'm a woman and a bit wide, so the bottom strap is tight and the top hole. The bag is never completely on my back like it should be. Also, when the water is full, there's only room for something the size of an iPad with a case. I didn't get a flag either. Overall great for an easy stroll for a few hours, would recommend for a hike or a long trip where you need storage. The water bladder itself appears to be a great design, no leaks.

I think it was about $25 when I bought it and I used it throughout my week of hiking. The water stayed cold for several hours. Fits like a glove, all straps are adjustable. The shoulder straps were well padded and didn't scratch or rub anywhere. Super comfortable. I bought these for marathon training mainly because I liked the look. It turns out to be WAY too big and bulky/heavy to walk around with. You might get away with it on a long hike, but even then I'm not sure why you need a heavy tarp when there are plenty of lightweight alternatives. I did this hike to Zion National Park and it is perfect for day trips. I particularly liked the colder part, which included the hydration bladder, as I could also store small items there if needed. I flushed the bladder and hose a few times when I got it just in case it tasted like rubber. My water tasted great and I didn't do anything fancy or OCD. It was literally just washed. lol. I bought this pack as a friend and started long hikes in the hot and humid US Southeast. The amount of water it holds is perfect for a day hike and the backpack is comfortable.
