The quality is excellent compared to the price. This sweatshirt is very thick and warm. My son is 15 years old, 135 and 5ft 7in tall and this jacket is a bit large for him as he prefers to wear his clothes 1.5 sizes smaller than normal. While it's a little big for his liking, I still think it's a good purchase, especially if your kid (or you) prefers wearing sweatshirts to a heavy coat in the winter.

I am 80 years old, 5'3", weight 110 pounds, in excellent health. If I can find clothes that really FITS me and don't look like they were made for a lanky teenager, then LOVE I them.In the future I will be contacting this manufacturer for additional clothing.UPDATE: This sweatshirt has been washed several times and is still like new.The zipper is very strong and secure.I am so pleased with this manufacturer's product that I bought one right away bought another color.

You can't go wrong with Russell Athletic. The material is thick enough not to get too hot in cool weather. I have a very naughty child of 11 years old. He complained that other brands' jackets or jogging pants looked weird on the inside after washing (the pilling that comes with the cheaper material) and ended up refusing to wear them.
