🔘 Edelbrock MA-1112 Russell Chrome Flush-Base Round Table Review

This block has stiffeners that my original block did not have. They are thin and don't take up much space, making small cuts in the ground with a hacksaw blade. Well worth the effort as it lays flat without stressing the hub when tight. Now it seems much stronger than the original block.

Great floor mounts for my camping tables, installed in the ground where the rails pass over and they don't catch or get in the way. And you can walk on them barefoot, they're cool on your feet but not sharp or rough, which is VERY good!

I bought this base to install a grill grate for a pontoon boat. The base weighed about 20 pounds and the grill about 7 pounds. After about a month it broke. It's quite fragile and is made of very thin, patterned die-cast aluminum. I definitely wouldn't use it as a seat. I don't think this provides a good solid base to actually install anything.

UPDATE - 6/29/15 - Bought a CP Products Heavy Duty Square side by side and it was just as bad - broke after 8 months (5 weeks of actual camping). Now let's try the ITC SurFit High Polymer table frame and hopefully don't have to deal with it again. UPDATE - 10/06/14 - Cracked like the original. The original served 26 years.
