Cons: Uses pins that need bending, not twisting, that wear out and break over time. Neutral: The frame is made of a thin sheet of plastic instead of glass. Less brittle but scratches/scuffs easily. Mine arrived with minor imperfections including scratches and a few small dents. They're not very noticeable, but a little disappointing. I bought a few of these frames: I need them for machine embroidery. I put the fabric on the "printing" boards and mount it in a frame: sometimes with glass, sometimes without (for example, with velvet, if the pile does not need to be crumpled). They are easy to use; have a good print depth on cardboard and fabric; and I can use window glazing points if I need to make the back insert stronger. In general . great shots! And I love all their colors! Easy to combine with embroidery!
