RV Designer Collection L448 Econo Review

This worked great for an arcade system I'm building. Used for tailgate and locks when rotated to any position. My board was 5/8" and it was too long even after I put on the notched plate to keep the lock from turning in the hole. I would have ordered one just under an inch long if I had received the other .to bend the flat locking plate at the end to make it tight when closed.Hope this helps.

I ordered two of these locks to replace the latch in the boot of my camper van. These cam locks have a smooth action and open and closed positions. The old latches I replaced just went round and round. Tightening was difficult, I had to go to the hardware store to buy 3/4 inch washers and they were hard to come by. As a result, I installed a rubber gasket on the front and a fiber gasket on the side of the latch. It was a bit tight. Next time I would order 1-3/16" for more room on the puck but…

All cam lock manufacturers use the same dimensions. Accept this company who thinks 5/8 lock is the hole size. not the length of the cylinder, but the width. Maybe I looked at the part of the description that said that expectation was a NULL description. oo Maybe 5/8 is the standard size. No 3/4 is the standard size. oh ok then it's just a horrible product page with no description and a seller who has no idea about their own product. Mob mob Waste of money. Time. and i will try to get it back. I
