Great Adapter for RV Power Needs!

Using this adapter, our team found that it was incredibly easy to connect our RV to a 50-amp power source. The construction of the adapter is solid and the connection was secure. The adapter is also compact and easy to store in our RV. We appreciate this product for its convenience and reliability. The only potential downside is that it may not be compatible with all RV models. Overall, we highly recommend this adapter for any automotive RV power needs.

Pros
  • Allows RVs with a 30-amp plug to connect to a 50-amp power source.
Cons
  • Not compatible with RVs that require a different type of adapter.

Better/cheaper alternative to pigtail cable

Here's what you need to know: If you are using a pigtail adapter, plug the RV cable's 50 amp connector into the 30 amp pigtail adapter. The adapter hangs outside of the camping power supply. Where your 50 amp plug plugs into a 30 amp outlet, it is exposed to the weather. When it rains, rainwater can run down the cord into the plug/socket and cause serious problems. Shorted and/or burnt spark plugs. Not good. Using this solid adapter keeps the entire assembly inside and under the cover of the RV
