Cheap. misleading description

I had to buy a new container as the one supplied was very cheap. Recesses require a separate tool. Very difficult to install.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Something different

Inferior Jack Terminal

The jack is rated for 50 amps but the wire attachment screws were too small for the 6 AWG wire and we had to replace the jack which cost an additional $15 and labor to replace the jacks .

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Requires Jack

Terrible connector

It has a nice box but the connector has mounting screws that go through the middle where the wires are. 50 amp cords are very tough. The screws prevent the wires from being pushed through. If you manage to install the wires they will come out when you put the connector in the box.

Pros
  • dope 🔥
Cons
  • boring packaging

Problems connecting cables

The design is good for the most part, but the lugs for connecting electrical cables are terrible to use. The bolts used to tighten the clamps require the stranded wire to be split and passed through either side of this bolt. With a current of 50 A, it is very difficult to connect conductors in this way. Change that part of the design and it will be awesome.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Minor problems

Terrible Connector

It has good packaging but there are lag screws on the connector that go through the middle of the wire connection. 50 amp cords are very tough. The screws prevent the wires from being pushed through. If you manage to install the wires they will come out when you put the connector in the box.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Great Price

Cable Connection Problem

Most design is good, but it's terribly impractical to use ferrules to connect electrical conductors. The bolts used to tighten the clamps require the stranded wire to be split and passed through either side of this bolt. With a current of 50 A, it is very difficult to connect conductors in this way. Change that part of the design and it will be awesome.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

IMPOSSIBLE BAD at outlets

The box itself is actually used by countless manufacturers. What makes this one different is that "knockout" isn't like that at all. You CANNOT rip open the connector hole no matter how hard you try without a dremmel and a sanding attachment. The steel gauge is heavy enough to make it very uncomfortable. I spent about an hour cutting and drilling a hole for a 3/4 plug. And even after all was said and done, I basically butchered the damn thing. To make matters worse, the fork is simply poorly…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks
