Fast delivery Don't waste your time and money

This is exactly what I needed. WOW! Five plugs and one key at a reasonable price. NOT CORRECT. Wrenches don't fit in RV hot water tanks and plugs are junk. They last about three days before the top cracks and you can see water pouring out of your device. Absolutely useless.

This is what is shown but may not work for you.

This is exactly what is shown, but it didn't work for me because there just wasn't room in my tank for this key. For me, a good head worked better, but the 7/8" is just the one that came in my kit. Since it's fixed. So I can't blame the tool for the problem, but be aware and look at your water heater and see if it will fit before you buy one.

Good replacement for thermostats, water heater components and parts

Plug fits snugly. Considering I replaced the original which was 15 years old, a couple of plugs should last me forever. The inclusion of duct tape was a nice touch, although I always have duct tape. The inclusion of a wrench was even better and I expected it would be easier to unplug for winter storage each year. Unfortunately, since the heater and plug are in the compartment, there is no way to turn the key. I have to straighten and twist the connector with an adjustable wrench.

Waste of money

I bought this on March 3rd and on May 10th (same year!) I had all 4 plugs through. Why? Spring. there was absolutely nothing I could do, no teflon tape (and no duct tape), and no matter how tight you twisted them, they all managed to leak after just a few weeks. Went and bought a brass plug at Home Depot for less than $5 and you know what? NO PROBLEM. Save money, time and hassle - just buy a "real" connector and stay away from that nylon junk. As for the tool, I didn't even get to try it. Due…

Questionable quality and design

At first I liked the design of the key as it made it easier to access the drain plug. However, the material can be thicker to cover more of the clevis surface. The key slips easily and is difficult to hold on the socket head. I replaced my existing drain plug with the new one that came with the key. Yesterday a new plug got a thin crack in the head and water ran out of the tank under pressure for an unknown amount of time. I had to drain the hot water tank and luckily I saved my old one to…
