Ryder Clips SSBLACK Neoprene Shifter Review

Either my bike's shifter was too thick or that toe box was too narrow. Thing is, it didn't match the switch so I wasted my money.

My first shift sock at 34,000 miles. After about 25,000 I sealed it with tape since it was falling apart. Finally managed to switch. Protects shoes and boots from punctures, worth the money.

So it was a hassle knowing what to do first, drive five miles down the road and it's already falling apart as you can see in the picture. The bottom looks exactly the same. Don't waste your money and time on this.

This works great for not scratching or staining your shoes or boots but if you ride a lot they wear out so you might need a couple should grab. Mine started cracking after 7 months but I drive every day so I don't know if it even matters.

I've had it for a few months now and it's already falling apart. It didn't match the rubber piece that was on my shifter so I decided to try it without the rubber piece and it definitely didn't last long. The zipper on it also tends to unravel.

The shifter sock didn't fit well and the zipper broke when putting it on, but I still give it 4 stars for its functionality. Unmarked and aesthetically pleasing! When the zipper broke, I just put it back together. . . could it be better than a zipper? I would recommend this to anyone worried about boot/shoe marks.

I bought something similar for the other back but without the zipper. I bought this because it had a zip which should make life easier. You have to roll it up a bit from the inside and then apply it. Did it with the other one and after a little jerk continued, sideways, up and down, with a slight pull. Took the same approach and it ripped instantly. Would not recommend this product. I went and bought a gum and it's been fine for a month now.
